On the Scoop.it home page click on Sign Up for Free button. Then you'll see a pop up window appear proposing several ways to register. If you'd like to directly sign up with your Facebook or your Twitter account click on the corresponding button to be redirected to the authentification page. Or simply click on "I don't have a Facebook or a Twitter account" link.

After that you'll be redirected to the account creation page. 

1. Create your account

Fill in the empty fields. Be careful when you choose your username because it will constitute your profile url on which your topics will be listed. When yo'ure done click on Sign Up button at the bottom right to receive an email confirmation in your inbox.

2. Create a topic & install the bookmarklet

Once you've confirmed your email, create your very first topic and install the bookmarklet or just skip this step by clicking on Next (then a "Skip this step for now" link will be displayed).

3. Follow other topics

The last step is to follow other topics to start your Community. Enter keywords in the search bar in order to find topics you could be interested in. Follow those you want by clicking on the blue Follow button available for each topic. When you're done building your Community click on Complete to access your Dashhboard.

Or you can skip this final step by directly clicking on Complete button to make to generate the "Do it later" link. Click on it to finalize your registration and access your Dashboard.
