4.6 [Biz] Header template 1

This feature is part of Scoop.it Business.

Go to Manage> Customization> “Insert HTML” tab and enter your own HTML code to push the branding of your topic further. Anything is possible, just need to have a little HTML/CSS knowledge. Of course, the better your HTLM/CSS level is, the more original your customization will be. Find below a concrete example that anyone can use.

A big thank you to IS Decisions, who has impressed us by creating first this header. As we were very fan of it, we’ve decided to make it a template to be shared.

As you can see, it’s an empty banner that you can place at the header of your magazine. To tune it, you’ll have to change your topic icon, add three separated images uploaded on a server and add your own text. Here’s some guidance:

1. Go to Manage> Customization> Insert HTML tab.

2. Insert this HTML code in the dedicate field (don’t forget to replace John Doe by your own name):

Please open the pdf version to copy/paste the code concerned.

The blue links refers to the images you’ve uploaded on a server. Click on the “Update” button to preview the result.

You can move the banner thanks to the “Position” ladder. For this specific example the best vertical position is -171 px

Don’t forget to click on Save to validate the code insertion.

3. Predefine a white background (255,255,255) behind the banner to hide the basic title, description and topic icon. Of course you also have to set the background color of your overall magazine in white.

4. To change your Scoop.it logo, go in the Header tab (logo format: .png, size: 116×26px for this example)

As a final result you should get something like this:
