Ideas and Improvements
Hi! We want to hear from you – what can we do to make sure that Scoop.it is the best platform it can possibly be? Don’t hesitate to share thoughts, ideas, improvements, or features that you’d like to see implemented.

Rearrange my scoop topics
I would like to rearrange my scoop topics. I now have 5 topics, but there are topics which I started at first I would like to place to the back. Now on your profile the first topic you started is on top, but I would like to place that topic to the second row in my profile and another topic on top. Can we make that possible?

Localization : what about a french version of Scoop.it?
I think that french users would be very satified if you proposea french version.

PRO/Business links should stay on rescooped material
Some scoops that I produce have numerous hyperlinks that I try to customize with the PRO features (to make my scoop look nicer). However, now that my curator insight is showing on the post when some else rescoops it, the links are not included (unless I paste in the URLs which would make my page look less profession, kind of defeating the purpose). What I propose is that when a Pro/Business user hyperlinks materials on their curator insight, that those links are visible when another scoop.it user rescoops the material since it is still a part of my insight that…

It would be a great idea to have your links to Support operational.
Customer Support is missing in action. I need help. Please advise.
1 voteHi Mark,
Can you detail the problem you had with support links? We haven’t any identified issues and they seem to be operational by clicking the feedback button on the right side of the site at any time.
Otherwise let us know what problem you have in the comments and we’ll try to help.
Thanks!

WAS REALLY liking my Scoop free trial - but for 7 days couldn't post. So passing on purchase 4 now.
Liked the opportunity - but could curate for at least 7 days, could go to profile and switch from curate to view, but that was it. Wonder if this is a prob I'd have if I purchased. There was no way I could see (which doesn't mean there isn't) to get any assistance - but then I didn't have time to spend trying to figure out how to do that.

Publishing takes a long time and some of the time does not complete
This morning publishing takes a long time and in some cases sits there and sits there and does nor complete. This patterns seems to be always in the A.M.
Very annoying.

Make it so that I can mark items as read, minimize them, or otherwise remove them if I no longer want to see them
Make it so that the posts/feeds/stories/scoops/whatever/etc that I've already seen mark'able as read'able.
Similar to how Google-reader (or other popular rss readers) allow posts to be marked as read or, well, otherwise hidden from showing up.
Facebook has this with their 'hide post' feature, though, much less functional than gReader's 'marked as read' feature.
There's a Craigslist app for Android developed by the company Escargot that has an excellent feature for this, arguably the best I've seen.

Add Paper.li As A Share Destination - Improves information flow and timeliness ...
I have two papers on that service that I feed via scoop.it ... Providing the opportunity to feed them directly would cut out my requirement of posting on my blog first and then pulling from my blog to Twitter and then finally to my paper.li source.

Avoid double-scooping
If I have already scooped a post, Scoop.it will still let me post it again. Is there no way to designate "already scooped to your topic"?
BTW, I'm loving this service-- it's like my own, personalized magazine.

Technical problems when using the new version on IPad
Unfortunatelly after the last update I encounter a lot of problems using Scoop it on IPad : bookmarklet is capricious (3 tentatives to get it working ; no focus on the text block when editing the content of a new scoop, the publish button hidden somewhere at the bottom of my page ...tip : I click "more options" to get it visible ...
I use IPad with Safari web browser
Best regards

filtering suggested articles
when curating can we no longer indicate that we don't want suggestions from a specific person in the suggested article list?

Scoop.it...
Hello.
I'm very enjoyed that lots f people have joined scoop.it, because scoop.it his MARVELOUS.
The contents are really very useful and very relevant, and your site works extraordinarily well. Without ever bugs (example: facilitated with whom(which) to pay(pour) my photo to send you my photo in my message of feed back; button of shortcut " scoop it " on my bar(helm) of Google Chrome tasks, to publish articles directly, and with an extreme facilitated, a very big working comfort, a big productivity).
But I thing that, whith all people I engage to join you (on TWITTER, FACEBOK, LINKED IN...),…

Feedback on new format
My initial opinion of the new format is positive, but two concerns immediately present themselves. First, as has been previously mentioned, the switch to an "all italics" layout distresses me. Over the last year I have carefully used the presence and absence of italics in my scoops to distinguish the commentary I give to each item. If you look at virtually any page of the many hundreds of scoops I have carefully curated, you will see that each one includes italicized and non-italicized components to set off certain sections of my commentaries. Now, suddenly all of my judiciously placed italics…
2 votesHi Bill,
Thanks for the comments. Good to hear you like the new format.
- is a bug and will be fixed before we release. Sorry about that.
- is interesting because after looking at your topic, it is precisely what you’ve done naturally in the past that we’re trying to make easier and more visible with this release. Of course devil’s in the details but I wanted to make clear that this “curator’s note” you (and others) spontaneously added is something we like and yes, want to encourage as many users to add. The thing is your name already shows on the topic so I’m not sure why you’d lose or alter the tone with this new addition.
Don’t hesitate to send more details or suggest the best way for us to adjust this while we consider options.
Thanks again.

Switch between accounts
It would be great to have the option of switching easily between accounts (not just between topics) without having to log on and off all the time. (I have two different accounts: one personal and one of a learning network). Something like what Google already does.
Thanks.

Terms and Conditions gives Scoop.it too much access to my social media accounts therefore I cannot connect them.
The legal agreement appears to give Scoop.it full access to my Facebook account. Since I'm already uneasy about Facebook security I'm not about to weaken it further. Is there anything you can do about this?

I would like to receive updates weekly; this does not appear to be an option though – it's daily or none.
Weekly updates rather than daily or none.
