Scoop.it! has really made a big difference to us at www.manufacturingstories.com . We are using the business class with branding..

I like the new format but I have a few comments:

1) If you magnify your browser page the scoop.it entry page enlarges with it. However the content of the Scoop.it page does not scroll vertically so you can not access the information at the bottom. (see system config in #2)

2) I'm running a MacBook Pro Retina 10.8.2, Firefox 17.0.1 One problem I'm having is that the Scoop.it entry screen does not employ the macs spell checking capabilities and does not have its own spell checker. As a curator I take spelling very seriously and mine is not great.

3) I like the fact that you added the section where the curator and add their take on the scoop. One thing that is lost now is that there are no formatting tools in the copy area where the story info is mapped over. I liked being able to bold and enlarge the first few key words of the mapped over text. It made the scoop look more professional.

Ok, lt's be more precise now. You caught me by surprise (I really didn't think you could change much more* tha, just a touch & feel with the feedbacks *I* got from many people testing your new interface.
I"m kind of a power user, and I really need the kind of tool you had, and don't have any more. I need to be fast : my word on and around ScoopIt gets benevolently abour 4hrs a day. And I CAN'T lose any more time. Even if your interface was quite not good, I can't beleive it got so worse !

Let me start a list. I already outed a fast and short one.

- This uniform white interface forbids to isolate the different fiels.
- You could be a little better than the older one by stopping the short of the paper at - at least- a period (naaa, too stupid you are). Or even get what in french we call a "chapô" (never heard of the levels on information in journalisme/press ?).
- Now let's get to the interface. Well, it's always been slow, and it's quite slower in gettin the parts of the paper. In the meanwhile (or should I say *before* the applet appeared) I used to read and select the real header of the paper I was on and copy it so I only had to triple-click and paste in the right zone of your applet. This is not possible any more : I need to select it first so it gets in edit mode, THEN (after a certain amount of time) triple-click (it takes the time it takes) and THEN ONLY can paste. The added field for personal comments is useless, people know how to type a CR and a pair of brackets between they can type their comment.
- Why isn't it possible to kill a source (not wanted, you make sometimes them appeared on the timeline because of some keyword, which mays be interstind as long as one can remove it at once so we don't get a 100 full of stupide tweets we don't want).

So I hope you'll really fast give back the option of the old interface, at least because many improvements could be done, or I'll quickly quit (24 or more K reads is little for you but multiplicated by all the people I convincend to use your tool and all the people they convinced, not counting the papers I'll publish to boycott you).

I am really enjoying Scoop.it so far and it has been great for connecting with great articles about my industry. However, I think the curation system is a bit lopsided and I wanted to provide some feedback. When I search for articles in the explore area, I get a lot of awesome resources. However, when I go to view my topic, the articles suggested for curation based on the keywords for my topic are terrible! Most of them are irrelevant, in a different language or just of low quality. Rather than just using a tool to haphazardly google search keywords for this purpose, there should be a method of slotting in topics you already follow/that you have found using the explore function into this curation feature so they come up as suggested when you visit the topic. If this already exists let me know, but if this is the case it definitely needs to be more clearly explained because from what I can see this is not an option. It is further disappointing to me that on your iPhone app, which I recently downloaded, you can't search for topics using Explore as described and can ONLY curate this list of keyword matches. This isn't a make-or-break issue with me, but I really would like to see the feature improved, especially so I can curate more of the high-quality articles posted by others using the app on my phone. I have read the rationale in the FAQ, but I think it overlooks a few things.
1. "Cybersquatting": Just make the topics a directory below the username (scoop.it/username/topic title) and that way you wont have to worry about all the titles getting used up.
2. "Quality vs quantity": Not all topics are meant to be constantly updated. I wish to make several short, one-off "magazines" that collect info on a particular topic, and then leave it at that. A limited number of topics discourages this, and limits Scoop.it's usefulness to constantly updated, blog-like magazines.

I love Scoop's layout and concept, there is really nothing similar except Shareist, which doesnt look half as good (but doesnt limit my use of it so much either!)
