Tenho viajado pela ilha do Marajó e conhecido de perto a situação de moradores desta ilha e as condições extremas de pobreza em que vivem a maioria destas pessoas. Tenho acompanhado também as politicas públicas para ajudar estes moradores, politicas estas que só ficam engavetadas por não haver sentimento de solidariedade, mas somente politicas de preservação ambiental, sendo que estas pessoas que nesta ilha residem também fazem parte do meio ambiente e que ao não serem inseridas neste contexto deixam de receber apoio financeiro educacional e moral sendo portanto levadas a extrema pobreza por terem muitas das vezes confiscadas seus materiais de trabalho como motores de serrarias moto serra e consequentemente o fechamento de suas pequenas serrarias que são a base de suas sobrevivência e de outras pessoas que nestas trabalham e por elas sobrevivem ganhando seu pão de cada dia. Estas pessoas não prejudicam o meio ambiente ao tirar uma arvore de 50 anos de existência,Não e Não pois eles deixam outra que esta com 45 e 35 e outra com 25 respectivamente em pé até chegarem ao tempo de serem cortadas conservando com isto a mata e de maneira nenhuma prejudicando o meio ambiente. Mas com estas pessoas não foi aceito negociação mas foram marginalizados sem se importarem com o futuro de suas crianças e nem com a crise que isto iria culminar nestas regiões, as politicas ambientalistas dos governos só se preocuparam com o desmatamento que ao ser igualado pela falta de visão, destes governos com o desmatamento de outros estados sem que isto fosse a realidade do Pará mais precisamente a ilha do Marajó, arruinaram cidades inteiras financeiramente e empobreceu ainda mais a suas populações!. Mas sera que não houve nenhuma ajuda para estas pessoas???.Sim ouve!!, até o príncipe da Inglaterra que um dia visitou a ilha e à ajudou financeiramente!, Mas onde foi parar este dinheiro sera que em investimento em escolas profissionalizantes, Salários para os que tiveram seus materiais de trabalho confiscados???.Não nada disto aconteceu a situação deles continuou a mesma pois as doações ao Estado do Pará que era para ajuda-los foi embolsado pela governadora da época e as prefeituras corruptas que só aceitavam algum meio de ajuda se estes beneficiassem a eles próprios e não a população destas cidades. Mas por isso não devemos esquecer que estas pessoas continuam precisando de nossas ajudas, eles são os principais indivíduos do Meio, e com isto merecem atenção sim!!! Por isso estou criando brevemente uma conta e quem quiser ajudar estas pessoas destas cidades podem fazer doações e com certeza esta doação serão investidas para levantar socialmente muitas famílias desta ilha. Vamos fazer um grande mutirão em prol deste projeto sem fins lucrativos e com estes recursos salvaremos pessoas da humilhação que ate agora tem sofrido. Agradeço desde ja o apoio e em breve estaremos publicando o projeto social e o cadastramento de famílias de 3 cidades primeiramente para receber apoio de todas as maneiras possíveis de ressocialização. Per my earlier note sent to contact support, I hope you will modify the suggested new layout and design. As someone who works in creative every day, the new design with italic font is not as warm, nor as effective as your original design. The headlines are not as bold, the use of italics font throughout the entire text does not allow me to differentiate my content from the "pullout." That's critical in curation. The tabs in the later font really slowed me down because they were not as quick and easy to read.

In short, I hope you may reconsider the new design or at least tested extensively before you roll it out. For me and I suspect others, it's really not working.

Generally speaking, I love the new design changes. Faster, better, and easier to navigate. But then last week you did some tweaking - which you mentioned in a recent newsletter.

Because the squeaky wheel often gets the grease, and those of us who are content tend not to write, at least once good feature was made worse.

When I scoop an item from my browser, and get the popup window, I often have to resize and reposition the embedded graphics. With the new design, you had made that easy by having all the graphic edit buttons readily available. Now I have to click a button that is harder to find, in order to bring up those buttons.

I think you should have left this alone - it really worked well before this last bit of tweaking.

I've been scoopin' for over a year and wanted to say that many of your new product changes are good and more efficient. I do prefer the previous daily message with traffic activity (and small graph of visitors). Your new daily messages look more like you want me to follow other topics. I am already on Scoop and can follow as many as I want. Market to new people all the more and not to existing curators. We know your system, content and value. Also, do you promote certain topics and try to drive traffic to them? Doing any PPC on keywords to drive traffic to blogs? Driving new eyes to interesting and updated content is valuable.

At the moment the only option is to "date" a post today, or in the future. While this works in the context of "scooping", it falls apart when you try to place context on content by "when".

Let me explain - I have on topic where I am presenting content concerning the United Nations Millenium Development Goals.
This is an initiative that has continued for many years now, working up to a deadline of 2015.

No problem finding material, but I need to place the historical material in context - last week, last month, last year.

Ideally I would love a choice - a check box that says "use original publication date", but would settle on manually being able to choose backwards in the calendar.

We are not all operating in the "scoop" context.

I sent this email to Support by accident initially.

Why not send me emails telling me I have a certain number of posts to curate on my account instead of sending me generic "Discover New Topics". I don't want to get the same email constantly. It's email blindness, get's unsubscribes for you, and is irrelevant, especially when it's the same email every single day. Currently when I click your email of "Discover New Topics" I get sent to your site, I then have to log in (frustration), and then I have to click to find my topic to go and curate it, (It's totally cumbersome for any person who is not websavvy).

Step 1. Make the website flow with a targeted email telling them to CURATE THEIR CONTENT; SUBJECT LINE: YOU HAVE 9 POSTS TO CURATE ON MEDITATION.

Step 2. Send them to their account CURATED PAGE without having to login or at least they'll see their page and the posts they have to curate and then they will login.

Step 3. Send an occasional email to create new TOPICS. Right now you're sending emails everyday for me to Discover New Topics and it's rather annoying.

The question is would you rather real relevant user engagement (People curating content) or do you want to send emails everyday hoping for clickthru's to your site and leaving other people to know what to do. People need to be told what to do which is "Curate Your Content" and not come to our website and "Discover New Topics".

I'm only writing this because I liked your companies concept but I got frustrated, I hate companies that send me the same cookie cutter emails everyday.
