At the moment it seems tags are only of any use when one finds a topic and uses them as a filter. It would be much more useful if users could enter tags within the search function to discover topics that use them. For example, if I enter a search for 'social tv' it will only bring back topics with that term in their title. What I actually want to find is topics which contain scoops on this subject. As a result I am missing out on many relevant topics. This function would also enable people to apply 'group tags' so for example all the students within a class could easily find each other's topics or scoops around their subject of study.
