Re-scoops by other curators
Hi -- I noticed that Scoop.it made a change awhile ago that when other curators re-scoop an article I've posted on my content, I get credit with a 'via'. If a reader clicks on the article, it used to go to my content and they could plainly see my review and know that I wrote it. Of course, it was then another extra step for the reader to click through to the original article.
However, I write reviews of each article I curate. When another curator re-scoops one of my articles + review, it comes across as if that person wrote the review. Hey, that's not right! I put work in to write these reviews and it is not fair when it looks like another curator wrote the review instead of me.
Does this also mean that I am not getting credit for click-through views from the readers. It would make sense if that was happening too.
Help! Help! What can be done? I know the change was made to make it easier for the reader, but the original curator is getting short shrift. I feel like I'm actually getting ripped off because other curators are note identifying who wrote the original review.
Suggestion: identify that the review is coming from the original curator. Otherwise I'm going to have to add a sentence to each review that I wrote it along with a link to my scoop.it. Yuck. That is really going to annoy my readers.
What say you? Looking forward to hearing your feedback.
