There quite a lot of work going in and I like to keep some insurance...

After the Google Reader experience, we see that nothing is eternal .. we need a capacity to export our work of curation (at least the url and associated tag for me).

I definitely agree, just a simple archive of links and text (comments, insights etc.) would go a long way...

If you mean so that we have a backup of our pages, this would be a great idea. I am worried about doing all the work and something failing so that I would have to redo it. Right now, though, I am just clipping the pages to my hard drive with evernote.

ahooo e qua stiamo a diventar vecchi! Insomma un backup anche solo per rispetto di tutto il lavoro che si fa sulla piattaforma!

Archiving would be extremely helpful. I'm considering using Scoop.it for compiling daily monitoring of news stories for a client. As it stands now, my client will be unable to view a day's edition if they're out of the office one day. Your competitor, Paper.li, allows archiving, but Scoop.it allows for much better control and a more visually-friendly format. If you enable archiving, I would have no reason to use your competitor.

There are possibilities that the downloaded materials would be used without credits.

Great suggestion! People who read multiple sources and those who cannot access Internet at home would appreciate this.
