Scoop from Google Reader
I can post to Evernote, Posterous etcetera form Google Reader. Would love to do the same to Scoopit
4 votesGiven the coming shutdown of Google reader we won’t be supporting this. Please note that you can import your Google Reader in your scoop.it suggestions though with the manage sources option.

more layouts options to display a scoop.it topic
Offer several layouts options to show a scoop.it topic such as more than 2 colomns presentation or one colomn scheme but with a slideshow effect ...

Support Advertising such as Google Adsense in topics
Will there possibly be a Google Adsense feature added in the future?

Posterous Support
Posterous support would be awesome. Not sure if on the agenda but with Tumblr & Wordpress in place, seems only appropriate to complete the "trifecta" of the best blogging platforms out there. Hope you will consider.

Be able to sort items in topic
Sometimes I need to bring old items on top of a topic, so I'd like to be able to sort single items in a topic of mine, with simple drag and drop or other ways.

Dashboard: display number of pending suggestion
So we can see immediately which paper needs curating
2 votesHi,
During the beta version the number of pending suggestions was displayed on the Dashboard page. Since there was already a lot of information on this page, we decided to remove it from there and to place it on the Curate page. To see that number go to your Curate page and click on the Views tab. A window will appear and the first line will be the number of pending suggestions.
Hope that clarifies :)

Very Disappointed... Waste of 2 hours of my time

Chance back to old screen design
Hi, I don`t like the new grew design: I prefer the old version!
Sorry, Mike1 voteSorry to hear that. But did you see the adjustments we made Tuesday and Thursday? http://blog.scoop.it/en/2012/12/13/scoop-its-big-bang-success/
If not, we’d love to hear more about what you don’t like specifically.

Scoop.it for android
Hi, my friends :-)
I like the Scoop.if for Android but I can't find a way to share my scoops directly to my Google+.
How could I do this?
Thanks
Sakis
1 voteHi Sakis,
Actually, the Google+ API is not opened yet; that’s why you can’t share directly to your Google+ account from the Scoop.it Android App.
We’ll keep you posted once we get news from Google.

Would suggest on your, "how to add topics" that you mention that if you are using the free version, you only get 5 topics. Boo!
see description above. Free = 5 topics.
1 voteHi Sara,
First of all thanks for your feedback. The number of topics you can create with the different plans is mentionned here: http://feedback.scoop.it/knowledgebase/articles/34074-6-1-am-i-limited-to-the-number-of-topic-i-can-crea. We don’t think that this information would fit in the FAQ about how to create a topic.
Again we Again, we greatly appreciate your involvement in Scoop.it and look forward to more of your feedback in the future.

Consider dropping the confirmation message for clearing a page
As I use Scoop.it more and more (loving it, BTW), I end up getting a little frustrated that I need to confirm that I want to clear a page of feed results. I can understand that the impetus for doing this is to prevent people from accidentally clearing a page (there's no undo), but after the first few times, it becomes a burden. A slight burden, but one that requires a click and not a keyboard Return. Just a suggestion. Keep up the great work!
1 voteHi Eric,
Thanks for your suggestion. But we have to decline it because as you said, there needs to be a confirmation message before deleting the whole page to avoid massive deleting errors which are irreversible.
Hope you’ll understand and look forward to more of your feedback in the future.

Hi,
According to our rapid growth, we will implement other language versions of Scoop.it. This is why we’re declining your translation idea. But thanks for your feedback, we truly appreciate your involvement in Scoop.it.

Toggle bookmarklet box in browser when scooping a resource
When using the scoop it! bookmarklet in a page, please have a way to toggle it so the user has a chance to review the resource a bit more to annotate a description (if one is not suggested)
1 voteDear user,
Thank you for being an essential part of the Scoop.it community and contributing your feedback to help us improve. We wish that we could implement the ideas of all of our users, as your feedback is very important to us. With the large amount of feedback we receive each day, though, this can get quite difficult!
Unfortunately, it seems like an idea you posted some time ago hasn’t picked up much traction from other users. In order to enable a constant flow of ideas, we have to go through and remove some of the older ones.
Again, we greatly appreciate all of your ideas and look forward to more of your feedback in the future.

"digg" sharing option
would you care to add a "digg" sharing option?
i know they're kind of competition, but this could be a real improvement.

Wonderful
This webpage is so helpful. Today I just type the key word Reading news reports for IELTS, and then I know this website. I wish I knew this earlier. Amazing, wonderful and sincerely thank the creators of this webpage as well as writers and readers all over the world.
1 voteHi,
You should post your comment on the curator’s topic instead of the feedback platform to make sure that the curator sees how much you appreciate his curation.
Kind regards,

Account connection
I think having a wider range of accounts to connect to would improve this.

Interim paid account
Scoop it is fantastic, but the price difference between Pro and Business is to high, especially as it is only giving an extra few features. I would like to have a second curator to be able to curate the feeds, but the cost for the additional feature stops it being a sensible thing to do.
Please could you think about how you structure some of the featrues and the prices.
1 voteHi,
First of all thanks for using Scoop.it and for loving it, we appreciate it!
We’d like to remind you the main features part of Scoop.it Business to explain the price difference between Pro and Business.
1- Host your topic on your own domain and integrate it to your website to get full brand recognition on social media and keep the traffic gained.
2- Customize your topic to your brand’s/website’s look &feel by creating your own header/footer with your own links. Find great examples here: http://www.scoop.it/t/showcase-of-custom-topics
3- Track your performance thanks to Scoop.it Analytics and Google Analytics in order to understand your audience and work on their loyalty by publishing the kind of content they like to read.
4- connect specific social media accounts per topic different from the ones already linked to your profil.
5- Save time curating by adding up to 5 co-curators per topic and schedule your…

Search engine on homepage (and with better features)
As a trainer I have difficulties to present the full power of Scoop.it without having a search engine standing just at the homepage (without having to sign up). OK, I found www.scoop.it/search but it would be better to have it right away.
It would also be definetly usefull to have a powerfull search engine with boolean operators, advanced search form, possibility to separate topics and articles search, date and pertinence sorting... and a good help page about search.
Thanks1 voteHi,
There’s a search bar in the topbar to look for topics/posts and even curators.
This FAQ explains how to fine tune your search (with boolean operators, advanced search): http://feedback.scoop.it/knowledgebase/articles/31965-6-4-1-how-can-i-get-more-accurate-results-from-theHope that helps,

Option to Add Title Manually
Scoopit pop out should let users trying to scoop stories add title manually. For sometimes it just cannot get the titles etc. their by rulling out any scope of scooping a good story.
1 voteHi,
We’re not sure to understand your idea. You should already be able to manually manage your posts titles. If you’re having an issue please let us know.
