Better search engine for topics (advanced operators, filtering, sorting)
I have problems finding good topics related to mine. It would be great if we had
- advanced (boolean) operators, possibility to search in titles/descriptions/articles
- sorting (new topic, popular, etc.)
- filtering (country, language, recently updated, etc.)Would be great also if the SERPs were easier to read : not only has widget but also with detailled view were we could read the full title and metadatas.

Tags as hashtags
It would be great if post tags could automatically be added to tweets as hashtags.

Reply to emails to automatically approve suggestions that arrive by email
(scoop user) is waiting for approval on a suggestion for (topic)
Need to click "Approval on a suggestion", then Scoop the relevant article.
Would be good if you could just preview the text in the email, and reply to the email. That would automatically approve the suggestion. Launching the web browser from the email link is a little tedious...4 votes -

keyword filtering of RSS
it would be cool if scoop.it could filter RSS for keywords. i've included some RSS feeds that mostly fit my channel but not always. i'd love to be able to only get those results from a given feed that match a keyword criteria.

Capability to reorder posts by date -- oldest to newest or newest to oldest.
Since I curate more or less once a week or every couple days it would be helpful to start with the oldest posts and work up to the new posts. But, I don't see a way to do that.

tags
It would be great to improve tags presentation. Tags should be visible at first glance (like a cloud or anything else..)

page list
Hi, it could be very to useful for scoop's user (like me for example!) to have a page with a list with all my scoops (links). With this page I could find very quickly a link I posted before when i want to scoop a new link... I hope my idea is clear for you. Best regards
1 voteHi Gabriel,
Isn’t that what you have on your profile using the scoop tab? Eg: http://www.scoop.it/u/gabigoubet#curatedPostsTabSelected
Let us know.

hide or mark read topics
i have many topics, so sometimes i cannot read all of them :
when i come back on my page "What's New on the -a lot of - topics" or the page "My - a lot of - Followed Topics", topics i previously read and topics i didn't read are together and similar :
it would be nice to hide the read ones.
--> to scoop.it : you twittered me an answer, thanks ...

automatic suggestion of tags to users
It would be much more efficient, if you suggest the user a list of tags that are relevant to his curated hyperlink, than having the user adding no tags at all, because it costs him so much time to think about relevant tags.
It is very easy. You can auto-suggest tags to the user by implementing the Zemanta API: http://www.zemanta.com/demo/
API for the tech people:

Post to multiple topics
I am imagining curating 3 or 4 different topics but they will have some overlap. As such there are some things I would like to post in more than 1 topic in one action. When I post I am required to choose a topic. Could you consider that there is a check box and I check the topics I want it to go in?
Of course I can do this myself by posting the same link twice, but that seems inefficient.

Scoop.it app for Windows Phone pleeeaasssseeeee :(
It's too bad for Scoop.it fans on Windows Phone to not have the Scoop.it app. All mobile platforms except Windows Phone have this app. This makes most of us curators on Windows Phone suffer with our scoops and even reading the news when you are not by a PC. I'm pleading with the Scoop.it app team to please have mercy and develop an official app for our beloved platform, Windows Phone.

Re-scoops by other curators
Hi -- I noticed that Scoop.it made a change awhile ago that when other curators re-scoop an article I've posted on my content, I get credit with a 'via'. If a reader clicks on the article, it used to go to my content and they could plainly see my review and know that I wrote it. Of course, it was then another extra step for the reader to click through to the original article.
However, I write reviews of each article I curate. When another curator re-scoops one of my articles + review, it comes across as if that person…
6 votesHi,
We unsderstand your point. Indeed we’ll have to improve again the rescoop button.
Thanks for your feedback.

Moving articles on the page should be easier
Moving articles on the page is currently a bit clumsy. I would prefer dragging and dropping them around the page; this would allow more easily eg. grouping one type of articles on one side of the page. Also, there seems to be no way of exiting the current "move article" mode, eg if I decide I don't want to move the article.

Suggested Content filtering by language
Just to get more accurate suggestions when curating !
The Topic's Language parameter is not always effective enough.
Thanks !

"ReScoop.it" button should allow you to suggest for other curators
When clicking the "ReScoop.it" button, allow the user to suggest it for another curator's topic. It'd be a lot easier to help fellow curators if I could do this right from the ReScoop.it dialog.

More than one language
I have two topics for Cuba news... one that I intended to do in English and one in Spanish. But many readers of this subject are bilingual... It would be great if there were some categorization tools so I could tag stories either by subject matter or language (that way bilingual readers could view all stories, and readers who only spoke one of the two languages could filter accordingly). I would use tags, but how many people would really think to us them since they aren't displayed until you click "tags"?
