bit.ly API
Since bit.ly is used for shortening, when sharing a suggestion and posting it on twitter It would be nice to be able to link our bit.ly API to scoop.it for stats

Idenfity major influencers with Topic Communities
By identifying major players from around the web and ranking their contributions not by quantity but quality and to identify which web-based communities they influence the most would be invaluable. Especially for individuals hoping to connect with the community and identify individuals with expertise within those areas who would be willing to share it.

reactions
its a bit confusing when you include the bloggers own sharing on other networks ( mainly facebook and twitter ) as ´reactions´. this makes it very confusing. apart from that l simply love scoop it....it has already changed my life. so thanx

Get rid of it
You post content, you get views, people re-scoop your feed, and you engage audience all to lose points in your ranking system. Since the rating/ranking system came out it has been a garbage mechanic feeding new users with information that is misleading and ultimately worthless.
What is a "good week" in this rating system exactly? How exactly are the 95 ratings separated from the 80s, 70s, 60s, and lower? Why is it that a week of good posts, feedback, re-scoops, and everything else the site is about, will lower your rating, but almost a month with little-to-no scoops/feedback will blast…

Change daily message to curators and add more data/stats
Hello,
I've been scoopin' for over a year and wanted to say that many of your new product changes are good and more efficient. I do prefer the previous daily message with traffic activity (and small graph of visitors). Your new daily messages look more like you want me to follow other topics. I am already on Scoop and can follow as many as I want. Market to new people all the more and not to existing curators. We know your system, content and value. Also, do you promote certain topics and try to drive traffic to them? Doing any…1 vote -

Transparency of scoop.it score to better show quality of the curation paper
I have a scoop.it! Score of 58. O.k., thats nice but tells me nothing. What is the scale of the score from zero to ??? and how do I compare with 58 to other content curators (overall and for my language or within my topic area (health)?
The 58 does tell me nothing and so does it tell nothing to my page visitors. Maybe you can simply create a page which clearifies the way the score works and add a stats page for all users so that they can see how well they do compared to others?Add a mouseover…

score out of 100
It would be cool to have a score based on a 100 point scale
