Turn pages like a magazine
Since it is about "publishing gorgeous magazines", would it be possible to turn pages like a magazine ? Cf Flip Board Wow effect. I would like to be able to build a page with some scoops. Other scoops on other pages. As such, the site is too static. Thanks.

Allow basic text style for all scoop.it users
Allow the use of italics and other basic text styles for all users. When commenting upon articles or books referenced in scooped items it would be nice to be able to put book titles in italics as they should be. There are many educators who cringe because they can not italicize book titles. Quotation marks are not proper. I find myself apologizing for appearing to not know how to properly type book titles.

An idea for development :
An idea for development : enable to create various “sub topics” within a main topic; for example 4 “sub topics” which could be easily identified as you look at a scoop.it account – when you like to know more about the “sub topic” you scroll down the “sub topic”. I feel it will be useful or at least it will be for the topic I intend to have.

Switch between accounts
Hello, It would be great to be able to switch between accounts without having to login and out (like with Google). I manage two Scoopits: a personal one and an institutional one.
Thanks for your attention

Use own url shortener
Some people don't see a Scoop.it url as a sign of quality but as a fear for spam. I would like to use my own url shortener (courtesy of bit.ly) as a default shortener.

Moving articles on the page should be easier
Moving articles on the page is currently a bit clumsy. I would prefer dragging and dropping them around the page; this would allow more easily eg. grouping one type of articles on one side of the page. Also, there seems to be no way of exiting the current "move article" mode, eg if I decide I don't want to move the article.

Create a WordPress Plugin for Business Plan
Would love to have this on my site(s) - all are WordPress based. Would like to have a shortcode to insert into posts using my theme and branding. This also gives me ability to capture leads.

Layout Design Improvements
It would be nice if a curator could control a few more layout elements with regards to the scoops:
- Cross-column scoops: Like Facebook's Timeline, being able to arrange a scoop across the two columns (for the top scoop perhaps)
- Control the length of text underneath a scoop: a simple drag-tab would allow the curator to determine the length of each article as to get a better image/text ratio.
- Category tags: a little colored label/tag/flap (not unlike the rescoop-label) that allows the reader to see under what tag or category the article is archived - like a newspaper's…7 votes -

I would like drag and drop of content on the page. Not click and point.

layout
I'd like more flexible layouts. Three column, maybe for column. Unlimited entries per page (don't restrict length).

Date
Hi,
When you've swapped the Curator's name and the one of the Autor of the source, you've kept the date of curation in place, it has nothing to do there.
Either you are able to get the right date of the source's edition, or you should place the date of curation aside the Curator's name.

bit.ly custom shortened links
As a white label option I would like the above to be possible.
Scoop.it would replace the http://sco.lt/... with the custom short domain you have on biy.ly4 votes -
long and short note
It would be very interesting if the content of a scoop can be cut in two parts, short note on the timeline and possibility to open long note ! Scoop it does not work very well with long notes and however these ones are sometimes useful

Rearrange my scoop topics
I would like to rearrange my scoop topics. I now have 5 topics, but there are topics which I started at first I would like to place to the back. Now on your profile the first topic you started is on top, but I would like to place that topic to the second row in my profile and another topic on top. Can we make that possible?
